Need second Opinion....
I just installed new exhaust system on my 95 GLE. No big deal, right? Well the problem is that as soon as I did, the engine light came on. I ran a test and from the fault codes it's the knock sensor and O2 sensor. My question is, Is this coincidence or related to the freer flowing exhaust? I had very mild mods before (intake only) and my car always purred like a kitten before, and I really haven't noticed any major difference, except possibly slightly higher idle rpm's but nothing major. Any advice before I have to spend a lot of money to change the KS.

Reset the ECU.
See if the codes are triggered again.
Sometimes a reset is all that's neccessary to clear it up, so that's the best, most cost effective thing to try first. Let us know how it turns out.
