Wierd Brake Sound

Just changed the REAR brakes on my wife's 99 GLE this past weekend. Used OEM pads and everything went smoothly - no problems. Brakes work great now and bite well. HOWEVER, now everytime the car backs up, you hear this wierd whining sound from the rear wheels thats sounds like something is rubbing or something. Anyone know why or how I can fix it?

Thanks! Aidan

It seems that sound could be the same one you get from the wear indicators. Did you accidentally bend anything during the install? Have you taken them apart again to see if everything looks kosher?

I think there was a TSB from Nissan regarding noise from the rear brakes when backing up. My car did it for a while brand new, the noise wasn't bad and a few months later it just stopped. Brakes have been fine ever since.
