Swapping good leather sections from passenger seat to a worn driver seat

I did this with my SAAB 9000 and a Volvo 940

Everyone said it was impossible because of the left hand right hand orientation, but if you look carefully the basic parts of the seat back and seat pad to the frame level are identical.

Its not an easy job. But I found a like new leather seat (pass side) at a u pull it for $50. My wife is great at sewing and upholstery, and I'll show you in upcoming posts how to do it..

Better than paying a half bill for a new seat!

my webpage from 2000.
