Sunroof question

I have a 96 maxima. Does anybody know if a sunroof from a 97-99 max will work? I've done some research and found some are grouped 95-96 and 97-99 and others are grouped 95-99 so I'm not sure what to believe. Anybody know 100%?

Thanks.

I put a sunroof assembly from a 97 I30 into a 96 I30 with no problem. It's been a while since I did it, and I seem to recall there was some little issue that prevented it from being a 100% drop-in. I don't think it was anything major though. Wiring plug or something, I can't remember. I say go for it.

I don't there is any major issues going from a 96 to 97 though. if so it would be just the wiring harness perhaps... Taking a look at some at your local junkyard could help. But overall I think wiring would be your only problem and that's a simple fix
