4th Generation
4th Generation
I've been a Nissan person all my life i never bought no other car i owned 7 maximas but i really think the 4th generation has the best design don't get me really i'm speaking from my heart i'm currently driving a 03 max but still have a 96 home
maxima turned me into a nissan person, i bought a 95 just over a year ago. its had some rough moments but im just about to finish body work and have it painted, since i got mine im fasinated with nissans, read the sept issue of super street, nissan issue, no maximas though
4th generation was originally the Maxima I fell in love with but ended getting a 3rd gen because it was all I could afford at the time. I fell in love with the 3rd gen and to a certain extent I prefer the way it drives over the 4th gen. I own my first Maxima still which is my 93GXE but I also love my 4th gen for many reasons. I plan on owning a 5-5.5 Gen eventually as well

This is how I felt.At first I bought a 91 maxima for 1k just to get from a to b and over time I fell in love with the car.I would still have it but the timing belt broke and to much engine damage.I went out and got a fully loaded 95 GLE for a little under 2k with low miles.I was this car to be the last car I buy for a long time but nonetheless I'm hooked on the maxima.
To many older honda's use timing belts and I never liked toyota too many of their older cars use T-Belt also.

I've had my 95 SE new after renting a 4th gen Maxima every time my 92 Mustang was in the shop (frequently). I've got over 165K miles now and it still drives like a dream. It hit a rough patch after I moved to Pittsburgh and it suffered some scrapes, bruises, and the typical 150K+ problems you'd expect to find. With some help from my father-in-law I've got it running better than it has for a long time and despite all the other cars that turn my head, it's still hard to imagine a better car for style of driving. Sorta liked the 5th gen, but they are too big. Forget the 6th gen. 7th gen are looking nice again, but no MT? I bought a Maxima because I knew it could last a life-time... this one just might.
.... dude the 7th gen is wow. the first time i saw it in person it had nice black racing wheels and a sweet exhaust and it sounded so mean. also it was dropped to the ground.
yeah but if u don't put extra on it (rims dropped exhaust etc ) it looks ugly believe me my Mama's driving one
The 4th gens are so reliable that I never doubt my car into thinking it cannot make it to another state without encountering problems.
I am not starting an argument with you my friend and I have no problem with your opinions. I like all gens but the 6th is my least favorite...
