What Is This Hose?

Hi, I tried looking around as best I could, looking at pictures and diagrams etc... but didn't find a clear answer. I just finished doing some maintenance on my car, (cleaned EGR, MAF, TB, and IACV). After putting everything back together, I noticed this one hose not connected to anything.

I don't remmeber noticing a non connected hose before taking everything apart. It's not very long, and doesn't seem to have a place to go. Is it just a breather hose that I need not worry about, or did I do something wrong in hooking everything back up and overlook something?

I "highlighted" the hose in question with red in the picture below:

Thank you for any help!

That is a breather hose for your tranny. Its not suppose to be connected to anything..It does have a plastic clip that it latches to to keep it face down though..you don't have it.

I noticed that I have an excessive amount of tranny fluid coming out and spilling into my engine bay all the time. What is causing this?

thanks

It is a tranny pressure release system. If it leaks all the time then something bad is wrong.

I just found that funny.. When something bad [implying it should not happen] is wrong [a state of incorrectness]. Therefore by logic shouldn't the bad thing being wrong be a good thing?
Sorry for picking on your grammar, but I laughed kinda hard when I read it.

Well Ill have to take a picture to describe it and I do have the regular auto 1-2 rough shift but when I redline the sh*t out of it it shfits seemlessly. I dont know what else it could be stating that the tranny has been flushed and filled every 50 k miles

Is your tranny fluid coming out from that same hose?? What side is the tranny fluid on? Your power steering also uses tranny fluid...so we need more details on location.

I laughed hard to find out someone took so much pleasure in the questionable (albeit still clear) wording of others.
