supercharged engine management?

what is everyone running, and how pleased are you with it? i have e manage blue on a 99 se-l with a 00VI swap and a S/C but it doesnt run that great, im not 100% sure but i think the wiring is messed up, when im driving it will cut out, and lose a bunch of power then come back and act like a cat with its tail on fire. spins first and second with ease when its running good, but still seems way rich.

With that emanage blue you should be happy. Something is not right. Try the supercharged/turbocharged forum.

if this could be moved to the SC/TC section that would be great.

well, whats the tune look like? is it leaning out like crazy during this "cutout", or is like a spark blowout hesitation? ive had both happen to me b4, and they both suck equally.

the only thing i can tell you right now that when it cuts out, the e manage throws a red light on active, and the lights quit blinking. i havent had this car for very long, and i havent had a chance to see what it looks like VIA laptop, but i will post up as soon as i can which hopefully will be tomorrow.

ohhh, so it literally cuts out, the emanage. hmm...not sure. ill have to look into what can make the red light come on. ive had my red light come on before on my EU, but i think it was because i was messing with a lot of settings and maybe did something wrong. but still check out what happens on the laptop. maybe theres something there.

Emanage Ultimate here. Runs like a champ. Starts and idles like OEM. No issues at WOT either.

Installed by me, tuned by a professional tuner.

exactly, and the EU? this is what? i hope that there is the only problem im running into now is the guy i picked the car up from cant find the cord to the laptop and i cant use just anyone due to the fact that i need the special plug in that the laptop has, he told me that if you try and use the usb adapter it doesnt work. so i guess im stuck until then.

The EU is the Emanage Ultimate. It is a more advanced version of the Emanage Blue. Has a few ore options like timing control.

Yes, the EU is worth it. Ability to add AND subtract fuel, raise the rev limiter, timing control, launch control, as well as other things.

The first item I mentioned will probably benefit you the most, based on what you want to accomplish.

But, if all you want is a nice simple daily, skip the EB and EU and get a SAFCII + wideband and call it a day.
