should i start getting mad at warpspeed yet?

Well, I ordered their ypipe/hi flow cat combo on august 29th, a sunday. I spoke to Dallas the next day, the 30th. The payment didnt clear untill 5 days later, sept 4th. THEN it didn't ship until the 9th and now im stuck waiting for this package without a tracking number. Is warpspeed usually this bad with shipping or is this the norm with auto parts because I think that almost an entire month is inexcusable when I'm paying almost $300. And mods, if this thread needs to be moved please do so because I want other buyers to see this thread to help determine who to buy from

Warpspeed Performance is notoriously bad with customer service. Check the dealer and vendor experiences sub-forum.

Is that was you mean by "almost an entire month"?

Two weeks?

Well if your payment didnt clear until the 4th thats not their fault, and then it didnt ship until the 9th (probably had to make it). So at the most its been 5 days since the "ship date". Give it time mang

Try waiting for 6 weeks on something from Japan

it wasnt their fault that your bank took 5 days to clear the payment, and you cant get angry when you order something that is not mass produced and sometimes is made to order.

Let me ask you this, did you call them before placing the order to check and see if your item was in stock?

To defend the OP:

I bought and paid Aug 31st, using paypal so my payment cleared right away. Called the next day, they said it was no problem and would be shipped out after labor day. Called after labor day and they said they were shipping it and would send me the tracking number. That was a week ago. I emailed and called and got the "run around" on the call, no response on the email.

So, even if they are normally slow, its just bad business to have such poor communication about it.

Now... on the other hand, they were very friendly over the phone and they are supposed to offer an amazing product so I am willing to wait it out.

IMO, you're jumping the gun waaaaaaaaay too soon.

And for the record, 16 days does not equal 1 month.

5 bucks says it will arrive by this Friday.

You want instant service and order fulfilment, go to Summit Racing, or LL Bean.
Warpspeed is a small Mom n Pop specialty operation.
