I install a after market radio(JVC)but the problem is that the factory radio would bring down the antenna when tape or CD is playing the after market does not do that is there anyway to bring the antenna down manual but still have it work on its own when I'm not playing a CD or tape?
well one i dont like sonys all that well.
I have a Pioneer Premier as you can see in my sig. Umm question I ve been wondering that also plus... What if the amps power wire from the RADIO is connected to the wire that makes the antenna go up and down also? Would I just need to go through the antenna wire still and make a small switch to make it off and on ?
You mean the remote trigger to the amp?
If so, then all you have to do is put the switch on the antenna wire after the connection with the HU and amp remote wire.
Are you sure you don't like SONY? hehe
Their ES car MDX-8970 is awesome... Spectrum Analyzer, EQ, Voice Command, Memo Recorder...etc ... That model is hard to find now... Crutchfield was blowing them out cheap...
