My interior dome light has been out for a like a year no biggie had the map light and didn't drive it that much. it is back to my daily driver. i boughta replacement dome likght off the forums and hooked it up no luck, hooked up my old one and presto chango it worked... for like 2 days and now it wont go back on, and now my map light is out. i have bought new bulbs checked my dashboard fuses and no blown fuses no blown lights bulbs can't figure it out. All my other lights works. any help would be appreciated thankyou in advance

 

clean connectors, with sand paper to bare metal and make sure they stick to bulbs n sockets bend them so they stick more tight to bulbs, if still doesn't work i would use multimeter to determine if there is voltage in harness, if not problem somewhere else...

 

The switch on the dome light can get the contacts tarnished and the light wont work. Just slide the switch back and forth a dozen times or two and see if that helps.

 

I'm having the same problem if anyone has any advice, I've ruled out the usual suspects - corrosion, bulbs etc - can't seem to figure it out.

 

make sure the connectors are tight and theres no g.f.s.

 

tried all that stuff and nothing works so far and no g.f.s. wtf is a g.s.f

 

update

noticed my hazard light and my defrost light aren't lit, my climate controll is really dim and wont switch settings, and some of the button lights dont illuminate, my courtesy door lights wont work and my ignition ring wont work . bought a bcm and my climate controll lights up fully except for the the same button lights no other improvements
