not much different from the inside. On the outside, kinda a raspyish sound. But to the untrained ear, you wouldn't hear a difference. You would only feel it...definatly feel it

I dont wanna make you feel bad but I really dont like the sound. That muffler really killed it for me. My ebay catback sounds way deeper and smoother than that. Good job for being bold though. A+ for effort.

I'm pretty sure the microphone on the camera, like most digitals, doesn't do a great job of capturing the low frequencies of a cat-back exhaust anyways.

okay ggenious, we get it. you got your 15 posts.

Im done posting here, like legit, its kinda annoying knowing that NOBODY is supportive on these threads. You all tore me a new one for getting pissed at warpspeed, yet you ALL criticize it. It angers me that I joined the org to share having a maxima with you all, but you talk about how I sound like mclovin... thanks

How do you expect us to be supportive of that? I don't wanna speak for all of us but I'm not gonna be supportive of a car that sounds like ****.

And come on, the McLovin' thing is a joke. I just found it really funny that you sound so much like him. It's a forum man, you can't get all butthurt over little things like that.

Nope, I don't have a Warpspeed y-pipe. I used to on my last 4th gen with a Stillen muffler welded onto stock piping and it sounded much better than your set-up IMHO.

I do have a similar catback though, but with the stock headers/y-pipe and cat. I'm looking to get another aftermarket y-pipe but your vid clip is making me think otherwise lol. Maybe since I have the stock cat it'll sound a little better.

Chris' and my car are set up nearly identical.
Our cat-backs are much deeper than yours and dont "stutter" its a smooth deep tone. You posted a video and wanted opinions. I TOTALLY respect the effort you put into it but its just not my taste. Sorry if you took our comments the wrong way

The man speaks the truth. Here's how mine sounds without the silencer:

And here's 95Maxed's with the silencer:

Our tones compared to yours are completely different. Maybe if you get a different muffler it'll sounds better.

Here's someone that has a set up similar to yours:

Hear the difference?

I took my silencer out btw, after the exhaust got broken in it quited down. Its not overly loud on the outside, but the drone was something to get used to lol.

idrivea98maxima, if youre happy then youre happy. so im not gonna comment on ur exhaust, ive got my own exhaust to worry about lol.

buuuut, could there possibly be an exhaust leak by the axleback? or is that just the exhaust note?

I wouldnt call that raspy... Raspy is like a g37, or 370z or a GT-R.

There's many different tones of raspiness. For example someone may say that a certain two guys have deep voices. That doesn't necessarily mean they sound exactly alike. They each emit their own depth note. Same here. By raspy in this situation, I meant more in a b16c type manner.

This sounds pretty good. Yo Idrivea98Maxima, don't take it so hard, if you like your exhaust that's all that matters. If you decide it's really bad you can always change out the muffler and that should make a big enough difference. Really it's not that bad but it does have a ricer sound and you Maxima guys hate anything that sounds like a ricer muffler. What did you pay for the Megan exhaust? A lot of times if your engine isn't pulling some decent hp a larger diameter exhaust will not reach it's full potential. I don't know anyone with a Megan exhaust on there Max but I've seen guys put bigger exhaust on all kinds of rides that don't need it or can't handle the bigger piping.
