Well, glad your happy and exited with your new exhaust. As long as you like it then dont worry about what everyone else has to say. I personally don't like it, I dont like any sort of exhaust other than OEM replacement. If it doesnt sound like a G35,FX35, 350z then I dont like it and I take whisper quiet over it

I don't like to come on here to talk down on anything anybody does. I appreciate anybody who takes pride in their Maxima. But I do want to say it don't sound right. Kind of sounds like theres a leak but I don't know. All that matters is what you think. Enjoy!

this. Probably a leak somewhere.

Don't worry mang, my 5th gen muffler sounds like **** with my Magnaflow resonator. Nobody seems to care.

Im done posting here, like legit, its kinda annoying knowing that NOBODY is supportive on these threads. You all tore me a new one for getting pissed at warpspeed, yet you ALL criticize it. It angers me that I joined the org to share having a maxima with you all, but you talk about how I sound like mclovin... thanks

You are supposed to mod your vehicle in a way that pleases you. If you like your exhaust setup as it seems like you based on your vid, just be happy with it. What pisses me off about this forum is when people exagerate **** like the warp speed y pipe.

I installed in my car and felt no gains at all. In theory it should work as I have a cali spec which has 2 precats and got rid of both of them. The only thing the y pipe did for my setup was make my car sound like ****.

Really it's not that bad but it does have a ricer sound and you Maxima guys hate anything that sounds like a ricer muffler. What did you pay for the Megan exhaust? A lot of times if your engine isn't pulling some decent hp a larger diameter exhaust will not reach it's full potential. I don't know anyone with a Megan exhaust on there Max but I've seen guys put bigger exhaust on all kinds of rides that don't need it or can't handle the bigger piping.
amen brotha, i had a can on my max but i took it off. everybody has there own tast. alexx0108 your max sounds SICK! i like it alot and dude replace your hood struts that big bar is killer

Wow some people seriously need to take some COMMUNICATION classes... seriously. You can criticize without sounding like a JACKASS. Except in this case this is a lot more ***.

But anyways, to the OP I think your exhaust sounds good except its a little raspy (probably cause its new). But its not like everywhere you go people are going to yell RICEEEEEERRRRRR or anything. Maybe after a few months or so you can get a new muffler or see if it gets "worn in"

But honestly the increase in power is all that matters and it doesn't sound as bad as people say it is Great work!

I have just the Warspeed Y pipe and high flow cat. The muffler and B pipe are from the partstore. Nothing special. With just that Y pipe added, it sounds much throatier, but not all that loud. I like it better than this Megan + Y pipe set up. I also felt the hp gains, but my precats on the Y pipe were pretty clogged up so maybe thats why I feel the gains and you don't.

Our tones compared to yours are completely different. Maybe if you get a different muffler it'll sounds better.

Hear the difference?
Is what you have, This?

ok , im new so my opinion may be butkiss, but... i have a 95, and i have tried 5 different set-up on it, from all stock, to stock minus the res, straight thru with a 2002 muffler, and even straight pipe, after all that, i found that i like the high-flow cat, res delete, and OEM muffler the best, but its just my $0.02

And come on, the McLovin' thing is a joke. I just found it really funny that you sound so much like him. It's a forum man, you can't get all butthurt over little things like that.

if someone responds to your post then im pretty sure that means they are being supportive. whether it is positive or not - well that comes down to how you take it.

bottom line: if you like it then it really doesn't matter what anyone else says. if they don't like it they don't have to listen to it. like chrisman said, don't get all butthurt over it.

i like how your car starts, i wish mine fired right up and great job on the exhaust.

i agree with you 100% bro the org isnt what it used to be this is supposed to be a "maxima community" although everyone may agree it doesnt sound in their opinion, "good" there are different ways of approaching it and voicing your opinion lets all try and be supportive and figure out alternatives on how we can help! however if you feel as though you like the tone then stick with it afterall it is YOUR car
