clutch bleeding question

My car has 129k on it and before winter hits I want to change my clutch fluid.Has anyone done this? From what I have read you take off your air intake and it is mounted on top of the tranny next to the starter. Is it best to unbolt the slave cylinder? Any tips on the easiest way to do it?

from what i know, you're supposed to gave one person pump the chutch about 5 or so times and hold the pedal as you open the bleeder on the slave cylinder. do that a few times to get any air out but make sure you keep brake fluid in the clutch master cylinder. hope that helps

use the bleeder on the slave(10mm)..have someone pump the cluth, hold the pedal, lossen the bleeder and fluid will shoot out (should put clear hose on the bleeder into a cup or bottle so you can see the air bubbles), tighten the bleeder back up when the pressure reseeds, when tight, have your helper redo it...5-10 more pumps..loosten the nut..tighten...redo...etc etc....do it like 6 times or so until the air stops comming outand its just fluid...but as stated above, keep an eye on the resivour to make sure you dont run it dry and have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN!!! lol
