So I went to the junkyard with a buddy to get him a new window. Wasnt planning on finding anything for me. But I decided to search for some i30s and maximas. Maybe find something nice.

I did. I found a pair of Pioneer 180(peak watt) Speakers in an old completely stripped 300zx. They were the only thing left pretty much. Score!

Installed them when I got home. The highs and mids are really good and clear sounding, but the lows are lacking.

I wanna replace my rear speakers, any suggestions?

 

agreed with fun junkyarding today! went to 2 and got evap stuff, center consol arm rest, different switches.....i went there looking for bumper, foglights, trunk lid...but found nothing great...next week i know where some are so ill be going there lol

 

I went to one last week looking for a hubcap and ended up buying a trunk lid.

 

I found a amazing leather ebrake boot last week lols, it was $2.

I have 4 of these speakers, very good in my Maxima.

Back in my honda days I once waltzed into a junkyard, saw a beat up looking second gen integra, gutted inside, the front end was hit slightly so the hood was jammed shut, well I took a tire iron pried that sucker open and lo and behold it turns out the integra was a pretty rare first gen Gsr and had a complete motor. Was like christmas for me.

 

My buddy said he could get me 4 Alpine's for 100 bucks. His cousins work at an audio store and get them at rediculas discounts

 

I need cosmetic stuff little odds and ends too. Lucky find! don't junkyard too much, does this kind of parts show up a lot or are they first things to go?

 

I installed the Alpine SPS-600C in the front, and the SPS-600 in the rear doors of my 6th gen. Haven't even amped them yet and they sound amazing! Nice clarity, impressive sound especially seeing that they're running off of HU power.

Hey man i gotta black 97 max and went to crazy rays yesterday..mt airy*...and they had quite a few decent black maxes about a month ago...but..some are gone..and some are missing the parts i was coming back to get lol so let me know if you have front bumper, fogs, back bumper, and trunk lid w/ or w/out spoiler..just need to get rid of the holes on my trunk lol...plugs are ennoying! thanks!
