i know nothing about this car other than it is an automatic, a 1997 and has no spoiler.

It looks like a GXE to me but the most accurate way to tell is to look under the hood at the identification plate that is on the firewall. On that plate is a number such as BLHULVAA32EUA.
Look at the 12th character (2nd from the end) which is a U in my example.
N = Canada
U = U.S.A. - Non-California
V - U.S.A. - california
Then look at the 6th character which is a V in my example. This indicates the model.
E = GXE for the U.s.; GXE & GLE for Canada.
G = GLE for the U.S.
V = SE
This info is from the FSM, General Information section, page GI-36
