This is a sound clip of my brothers DEK swapped 4th gen with a custom 3 inch exhaust and 350Z Vibrant muffler and resonater. The whole setup cost him $302. It doesnt quite sound like a 350Z but it does sound pretty good.

Sure is raspy...i'll jump on the bandwagon and tell you it needs another resonator.

It's the camera. It doesn't sound ricey to me. Before he installed this muffler and resenator it sounded horrorible. Like he glued a bunch of canned food cans together and put a muffler on it.

 

Not too bad just raspy.

i did my 2.5 with no resonator and it sounds similar but deeper and not that pitchy...

 

I got a ride in this car the other day. This doesnt capture the true tone. Its sounds nice in person and in the cabin it was pleasent. I am thinking 3" because my 2.5" Cattman is too quiet

 

Camera Quality. Drive to each of us so we can judge.

 

Sounds like it could sound decent if you fix the raspy factor. Put a resonator on it, that should clean it up.

 

after i broke into my new exhaust, it does kind of sound like that lol.. but no resonator and i think it sounds good, i dont dislike it but im not in love with it.. i wish that it could like a 350 or a g35/37
