I was looking on ebay for maxima parts when I came across a dutch auction for Clear taillight blinkers. The auction starts at $230!!!! I'm think...What the heck! I did the job myself for less than $30 (I bought a huge plastic panel and a heat gun). I was thinking this guy just needs to sell three sets to unsuspecting individuals and he'll be rich. I'm sure there a few people who'd pay this outrageous amount.

 

I am familiar with the dutch auction you are refering to. But there are somethings you must keep in mind, you did this project with the taillights already purchased(purchased with your vehicle i hope) and this ebay auctioner is selling a brand new unit from nissan and then performed the mod. If you are familiar with the prices of OEM parts especially nissan, then you will start to realize where the starting price came from.
