Yeah, silverish chrome outside appearance, but they light up amber...red...whatever you buy. I have them in my R34 headlights for the clearance lights.

Yeah I have the red/clears on my 95. I kinda dreaded it but I like them now. I only got them because at the time they were on sale for less than the stock ones. So I jumped on that price.
Stock > all. But I like my money :].

What about the taillight film? I had painted my tails on another car of mine and was disappointed with the lack of durability of the paint (needed to be reapplied every 12 months to maintain sheen). I believe it was the Testors candy red translucent - looked great at first, but didn't hold up.
I recently did the amber sections of tails on one of my cars and it looks great - now these are more of a prism cut effect instead of clears, so maybe this is only an option for factory tails (not sure how translucent the film will look on clears). I will get some more and do my factory amber section on my 96 Max and post up.

Excuse the 2 second PS job - you get the idea...

oh ok. i have the clear ones that are amber. i like how they look in the day time when it reflects amber on the mirrors. i used to have them white but i like the amber. gives it a little somethin that isnt too plain... but eh, i always change them to white, then amber, then white, and just right now they are amber

They do look really good. I would get the chrome bulbs for the clear lenses and red bulbs for the red lenses.
