Rebuild to UPgrade alternator

I've recently stepped into a new (to me) maxima from an old one of the same year - 1997.

In the old max , I was running a single 15" IB sub in the trunk with an oldschool earthquake pa-2150 2 channel amp , bridged mono @ 350 watts RMS , 8ohms.

Well , it killed the stock alternator and battery and I ended up switching out both ...

A year later , I cracked up the original maxima and used many of the front end parts for the new maxima.

I still have the replacement alternator because I plucked it off the old max before having the wrecker take her away.

I'm going to be doing another stereo system upgrade and will likely kill this stock alternator too. In how short of a time , I dont know.

My question is ...

Can I beef up this replacement alternator? Can I have it modded to handle more?

My uncle who's a mechanic mentioned that was a possibility but he wasn't sure so i'm here asking you good folks

I have seen references to 200 amp altenators but I don't have any need for one, so I have not pursued the subject. Maybe check the stereo forum.

OEM alternators, NOT REMAN. Are typically pretty good. But beware of the recall ones. Upgraded Ones are pricey, also. 350 RMS killed your Alt? Your Battery would have gone shortly as well.

Grounds (Bad), OE Alt, More Grounds, Properly Grounded Amp (this means sufficient Clean metal and a 0 Ohm resistance between it and the battery), And test your battery.
