***Mitsubishi 5 speed weighted shift **** for maxima????***

I have a 4th gen, has any one used this shift **** before? They said it will fit virtually all Nissan's including the Maxima. It's a "weighted" shift **** made by Mitsubishi Motors and is sold by Nissan. I brought it for my 5 speed swap which I'm about to do next month, the **** looks and feels authentic. If you have used it, do you like it, do feel any difference, etc. Let me know your experiences. Here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...s#ht_500wt_956

OP, I've seen a few members use that shifter and like it. For that price you can't go wrong either.

I assume you would recommend it then? My shifter just split on the seam, so I am in the looks for a new one.

I have one, but i dont like it and i use something else now. it felt too big and bulky, and didnt feel heavy enough for me. for the price, it cant hurt to buy and try it.

In it's simplified form, a shift **** is a shift ****. As long as it fits, it works...lol
There are shift ***** that I have liked more than others, so it's up to your personal preference...
So if it looks like something you would like, buy it...

if you are doing a swap why not get a short throw kit i have a bnm and it came with a shift ****. but i agree with ctsnyper a shift **** is in fact just a shift ****, it's your preference. i like the aluminum shift **** that came with my short throw. my buddy drilled a whole into an 8 ball and glued that to his shifter. it's all about you but the one in question looks good thats all i can say as i have not gripped it, tried to shift with it. my advice is to go to a store and try one out, they are kinda like a glove, and the same glove wont fit every hand.
