Intake Air Code Mix up

Does the unplugged Intake Air Temp sensor also throw the Rear 02 code. The shop installed a new alternator and forgot to plug in the Air Temp sensor and I got both codes. Also, is there a ground or other connection for the rear de-frost under the hood?

no, the intake air temp sensor, has nothing to do with the o2 sensor... go to advance or autozone and ask them to scan your car, its FREE, write down the codes, it will say P0xxx and it will give you a description of the code and post it so we the fourm can better assist you in your issue, or you can pm me

I pulled the codes myself, got the air temp plugged back in, reset the ecu and both codes are gone, although I suppose the rear 02 could reappear. However, as this happened once before, I am inclined to think it is not a coincidence much like you can get a KS Code sometimes with an 02 even though the KS is OK. Also, it appears there is connection to the rear defog and the electric bracket that screws down to the left front of the air intake coming right of the rad bracket.

The o2 code stored was from the the low voltage condition due to the failed alt. reseting the ecu after the install will clear the code. after that you should be fine.
