Im confused ??

They first time it happened it started on the second try and the second time it happend it started on the third

You might want to check your battery connections. Make sure there clean and tight. Clean any white residue off of the terminal posts. Disconnect the battery when you do this to make sure you get everything nice and clean and assure good connections.
i have had the same thing happen. i have NO idea why! my 95 left me at Album Alley for 3 hours one night. the lights would come on, everything worked fine, but the starter just would not work. when i turned my lights on, and turned the key over, they didn't dim, so i think maybe the starter syllanoid wasn't engaging. that's all i could think it might be. it only happened to me about three times in a three week period, and hasn't done it in about 4 months. maybe it just fixed itself!?!? j/k! has your check engine light been on in the last week or so, matty?
