engine hessitation/misfire round 3..timing chain? cams?

(Typing on a phone sorry for grammar and spelling)

Okay, I ruled out a lot for this problem, basically what is going on, is I am while more noticible in gears 4th and 5th around 2.5 rpm and 3k, when steping on it quickly either wot or when i double tap it. Or hard shifts she basically has a hard time catching up with those loads. Its really annoying and acts like a misfire. Now I ruled out that it isnt a misfire, I just replaced the clutch, motor mounts and did full tuneup anand egr cleaning with iacv and TB cleanings with new gaskets of course and the issue was still there.... now I thought of one issue.

Maybe its my maf? Well I put another maf in and the wierd part is the hessitation delay is now just a little less to maybe about half. It used to chug like 6 times when I did the things about when driving and now its about 3. So maybe the maf helped but did not rid my issue. Now I was talking to an old school backyard mech at work, who seems to know his engines well.

I told him about the issues(btw he likes the maximas he thinks they got a lot of ***** and he has driving 400+ muscle cars his whole life, so that says something haha) but anyway, he said it it very well could be issue worn cams or a loose spocket teeth in the timing chain. Now it does make sense that he said this as my vq is turning 200k this week, but is this a normal issue?

I always take care of her. Change oil with mobil 1 and everything, and cams wearing out hell even the chain@ 200k doesnt seem to be a normal thing and this engine has been friggen mint. Now, if you say lack of oil changes? I have extended my oil changes a little more then I want too (7k+) but thats the worse I have done but this issue has been around since spring of 09. So I am stumped and I am not willing to rip off the heads on a hunch. Or replace a timing chain cause those are expensive.

Thanks if anyone can give me input. Maybe Pmohr and other legends can chime in please

how did you rule out a misfire?
A weak coil pack could fire fine at idle or at low rpms and then fail to produce enough spark under a load and cause misfiring and hesitation.

Coil Pack(s) When they get week, the spark can be blown out under load.

+2. I had this problem and changed all my coilpacks with some Hanshins from the junkyard and problem solved.
