IMPORTANT Question - Please look inside

Hi. Does anyone here with a Maxima have the drawer that slides out under the head-unit? I just read in another posts that it comes with the I-30's...does any trim level include it or are all Maxima's pull open?

Thanks,
Erik

I always thought that the slide out drawer only came in GLE trims and the SE and GXE models had a pull/flip open compartment. My uncles GLE had one and my SE has the pull open sheit. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a full loaded '97 SE and it has the slide out drawer thing right under the Bose head unit. Slide out as in you press it in and it comes out, then press it back in and it clicks closed.

Not 100% sure but I think if a Max has Bose system, it also has a slide out drawer otherwise a flip down pocket. So GLE always has slide out drawer, SE with Bose option has it too, basic GXE and SE have flip down pocket. I don't know if GXE with Premium Audio System (not 200 Watt Bose but 100 Watt AM/FM/CD, 6-speaker) has slide or flip.
My Basic GXE has flip down pocket.

All the GLE's came with it. BTW, the '95-96 GLE's also had covered A B and C pillars, they were covered in the materil that covers the headliner.

There is a website? I thought the org was just a forum? I never thought someone would actually waste time to create a page for it...but thanks...

By the Way, I knew it was a site...for a year I never knew about the forum!

Thanks everyone,
Erik

My 99 SE (not SE-L) came with the pop-out tray. My 97 GXE did not, but I added it easily.

Some day I'd like to replace my flip down with slide out too. Not just for look but for easy access, and I feel the flip down is too tight, sometimes it hurts my nail if carelessly.
