Confused on what my car is worth. Please help

Im in the market to sell my 98 SE. This is my first time selling a car so i'm a little confused on what my car is actually worth. So, if anyone can help me or tell me what YOU would pay for it I would greatly appreciate it.

The car is a 1998 Maxima SE black with black leather interior. 109XXX miles and my family has been the only owners of the car. Car has had routine oil changes, alingments, belts, ect. I have baby'ed this car for the 3 years it's been my own. Interior is in grrat condition with no stains or rips in the leather, only minor wear in the driver seat from me sitting it in obvisouly. The only major problem with the car is that it was T-boned a year ago. It was not tottaled and his been since repaired and looks good as new. The paint is in great condition with no rust spots or anything. So for the mod list...

Motegi 16" racing rims
Good year assurence tires (>2000 miles on them)
Custom painted valve cover (red)
Custom "maxima" grille badge
trunk has been debadged and "SE" has been added (in black)
"nismo" racing decal on quarter panels
Volt meter gauge (mounted next to steering wheel)
Bombz Racing short ram intake
Bombz racing Front strut tower brace
painted brake calipers (red)
Warpspeed Y-pipe
Custommaxima.com catback exhaust
Sony X-plod headunit
hardwired cobra 9 band radar
hardwired mini-usb phone charger
kicker KS compenet's in front doors
Kicker KS coaxel in the rear
Alpine MRP-M500 Amp
Kicker 10" CVR in sealed and fiberglassed box
Viper 5901 remote/start/keyless system

$3000-$3500 tops. You might as well de-mod what you can and make money back on here.

So post it at $3500 OBO and see what offers you get. Also look at other Maximas in the area with similar mileage and/or mods and see what they're going for.

Remember, mods don't esentially add value. I know we all wish they did though lol.

I understand it's just to get a general idea on how to price a car. A '96 Maxima with my mileage (91K now) might go for closer to $4000 up here when in the city (LI) I paid $2500 for it.

Just check and see.

It's only worth what someone will pay, but after being t-boned(and fixed) I think 4000 obo is about right with the stereo. Ebay is a good resource to sell it too, that's how I got my MAX with all the mods I wanted.

So after posting this same thing on my Facebook (ha) I had a friend's brother call me and offer me 5300 if he can get the loan. Talk about luck. I'll keep everyone posted!

The mods mean nothing unless you find a sucker. If you can find one of those then thank your lucky stars and don't look back.

Your "mods" are going to make it a hard sell.

Well hey you know what they say, a sucker is born every minute.

Personally I feel like modifications devalue a car. I know when I'm looking to purchase a car I look for modifications and if I see them that's usually when I move along. My recommendation, remove ALL aftermarket parts and sell them separate. Why not, otherwise you’re essentially throwing all those parts away along with the money you put into them.
