Why in the world would you guys think Dillano would completely randomly make up a quoted post?

Obviously the OP posted that, got quoted, then deleted the post (but who knows why).

Car was found. Anyone wana buy my car lol? As pissed as I am, all i could do is hope whoever is doing it get caught. They couldnt even leave my car on bricks, left flat out on the floor. I'll post pics up later. As far whats missing, 3 Rims gone they left the spare, they took 1 headlight and crack the other one, bumper lights and fog lights gone, battery gone, intake gone, radio and center console gone. Engine, tranny and body is still there. How much would someone give me for it? Just need rims (have stock gxe from 5th gen), lights (still have my stock) and intake to get it on the road or can part it out. Engine and tranny was a swap. Engine 45,000 miles and Tranny 85,000 miles. Heres what I dont get, they left the coilovers. Thats not including in the sale unless you give me a good offer and ill give you the rear coilovers also.

My friend went and i'm bout to go over there in a little bit but there are 2 other maximas being striped, ill update about them later.

Dude, why would I take the time out of my day to make up a story and quote it? I've been checking in on the 4th Gen forum ever since I bought my Maxima, in November, and then I found this thread. Ever since this happened to the poor guy I've been checking in and when I saw that post I was happy that he at least got his ride back and I wanted to say something. I know I haven't really posted much, but thats no reason to accuse me of spam or trolling, this forum certainly isn't /b/ (Which I don't even do there). I think we can all agree that having this happen (especially on Christmas) sucks, there is no need to cause anymore drama.

I hope Danwito comes by and explains everything and why he deleted that post to enlighten everyone.

Yeah I have email subscription notifications on and theyre sent directly to my phone. I didnt get OP's response emailed to me for some reason. I got Dillano's which had me a bit skeptical and I scrolled around and didnt find it which I thought was odd. Im glad thats all cleared up.

My bad for accusing you Dillano. From my standpoint it seemed like you invented that quote. Honestly I thought you took his car and came on here to taunt. I feel bad for Danwito so in a way I was just looking out for him. Againt, my apologies, bruh.

sorry to be blunt, but why is the car still there? Can't you tow it back to where you are? I'm confused if the authorities know about where the car is. It seems like the police would tow the car from where it was stripped. I'm sure you can find some steelies on cl for cheap so that it'll be on a rolling chassis. Maybe i missed something, but am i wrong to assume?

P.S. Sorry bout your mishap. Just sounds weird that it's still where it was left.

Not to be an d**k but honestly in NY, I would expect nothing less of the cops. Apparently, NY is a hot spot for stolen cars. Sucks. Invest in a car alarm with starter disable. Gotta protect your investments man.

Maybe it's just the cops in your area danwito. Back when I was living in Queens, I had my Civic stolen and called the cops. They came and took a report then called me literally the next day saying they found it stripped. When I got to the towyard where it was taken, just the headlights, taillights and intake and wheels were taken. Everything else was intact and easily replaced.

When it was first stolen, the cop in my area which is 75th said you ain't getting your car back. Now it was found in 83rd area, they were informed and did nothing about it and left it to be stripped by others.

That's NYC cops for you. They don't really care about car thefts.
