I have PIAA Platinum Superwhite's in my headlights and fogs. They have a purplish tint to them, not as much as HID's, but on the road they look very close to HID's. MUCH brighter than stocks and a nice purplish tint. Cost me $70 for the 9004s and $45 for the H3s but its worth it to me.

get Naxos 100/80W bulbs ... $20. They are really really white with a tint of blue.. But you will probably need an upgrade harness with it to prevent meltage of your stock harness..

Try out Hiper Industries Super Plasma Xenon bulbs. They have a blue tint, not purple. You should be able to find them for like $15 for the headlights. I'm sure that'll help keep you in your budget range.
They're not stock wattage but I've had mine for about a year and a half. I did have one socket melt, but I just replaced it with a $5 one from AutoZone. No problems since.

Whoa! 6000K? That must be really blue. I wish I hadd that kind of money to spend on some headlights. If that's is too preicey for you just be sure not too get the high wattage bulbs, I don't care if you even get the upgrade harness, they tend to fail. Stock wattage is best, besides, the high-wattage bulbs don't make that much of a increase in road vision like HID's.

I have the nokya artic purlple. They are hight wattage, so get a wiring harness. When looking at the headlights, they look purplish, but the light output is white. I don't have pics of them, but redmaxpa007 has it on his computer
