is it me or do 4th gen manual tranny suck. bearings on input shaft are shot and make a lot of noise (low groaning 5-20mph). yes i do "drive" my car but my VE 5sp got 40k worth of "driving" before it gave up. (missed shift with a Centerforce DF killed 2nd gear synchro/shift fork) the VE 5sp still drives, with no noise!! you just have to A: skip B: crunch into 2nd gear.

you cant tell me 15ft/lb of Tq is causing the problems on the VQ 5sp. i think nissan went cheap on the 4th gen tranny.
