got a new toy
Hey guys just popping in to say hi ! We picked up a project 97 GLE this week and are eager to start playing and prototyping parts on it, but before we start I just wanted to gather some opinions on what you would like to see ( if anything) for the A32. Up until now Racingline has not really had an A32 around so nothing was ever done, but the price of this one was too good to pass up
So here I am, let me know what you think and what you would like to see. a strut bar has already been done and endlinks will be next as they are just natural extensions of parts we already do. but what else?
Joe

A guy is (was?) already working on Roll Center Adjusters, but I would like to see what an actual company could do...
Maybe a resonated 2.75" test pipe would be cool too....
You will be making strut bars for the front and rear, correct?

A polyurethane filled rear beam bushing would be nice also a true cold air intake using the location of the fuse box behind the battery there is a fairly large opening supporting this but the fuse box would have to be moved

Doesn't Cattman make equal length headers already for your guys?
Honestly I don't see paying $800 for a set of headers for a 4th Gen when that's about 1/4 of the price for a good used complete 4th Gen car. I could see paying $300-$400 tops.
As far as a Supercharger Kit, I think there is still a market for them because when they come up for sale used on the org. they sell really fast and people are always looking for them.
You could make alot of things that other Manufacturers already make and flood the market with them, but the thing is to make a product that is in demand now, or was in demand but is no longer produced, that is affordable (in today's economy) and fit right the first time and is built to last.

They do, but if you can make them cheaper (pricewise) but same quality, more people will buy them.

/edit
If obx could make a 4th gen compatible version w/ the EGR that would be AWESOME! *hint hint racingline*.

+1 on that, people will definitely capitalize on that. It's unappealing when you have to source the headlights, retro parts....find someone in a differnt part of the country do the work for you and send the finished product. Alot of people have done it, I just think that if the retros were done to the r34's..the convenience of it would be your selling point.
I would def appreciate any of the smaller suspension mods, front and back strut bar maybe a lower tie bar (one that is compatible with custom headers) and rear sway bar etc...plus all of the mods from above users. Ready to throw money at anything cheaper than stillen.
on the cold air intake. one with a template, full instructions and a possible rubber shroud to mount it in the fenderand a shift kit, trans ecu reprogram or something for these sloppy autos
