New toy

Got a new toy last month. A 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa. 175 hp at crank and 160 at rear wheel. Amazingly fast. Does 1/4 mile at 144 in the high 9s. Had her over 170 already and still pullin hard. Although the 95 Max is getting older, I'm still liking taht for cold, rainy days!

hey, I've been wondering this for awhile. what's the differences between the r1 and r6, and in your opinion, which is better (all around)?

thanks

Got a Silver/Blue. Got it for $8700 brand new! 1st gear goes up to 85 and 2nd hits 125! The Yamahas are very nice. But my butt is too big. I'm 6'5" and around 250. The R6=600 cc and the R1=1000 cc. The busa, well she's 1300 cc.

Always wear a helmet (that way my coworkers can't tell its me that just blew by 'em)

After 6+ years though I still love the Max for the days when I can't use the bike. All these new Nissan models coming out makes me wanna BUY BUY BUY!

R1 = 1000cc, that pretty much explains it all, more hp, more torque, more wheelies! heheheh
R6 = 600cc, less torque, less hp, but fast ebough for me, wheelies are harder to do if you're a beginner.

Hmnnnnn..... I like them both. R1 has a more agressive stance. R6 is alot more comfortable for everyday cruising. Overall I can't really tell you which one is better because each has its pros. Both are awesome IMO. I don't really care about speed cause both of them are fast.

I like the way the Rs look. Like I said, my butt's just too damn big for those bikes. I learned how to wheelie and now its fun to bring the front wheel up in 1st and 2nd but still kind of scary doing 4-80 on 1 wheel.
