Air Filter

Did anyone have a problem with the senor when installing an after market High Flow Air Filter?

Nope.

I just made sure I handled the air temp sensor carefully when taking it out of the stock box and putting it back into my JWT popcharger.

I took the filter apart from the rest of the intake and slide the sensor inside. With just enough slack so that it wouldn't be tight against the filter and wouldn't bounce around all over the place.

And I've had no problems with it in the one year I've had it installed on my 95.

Would the same method work for just adding a K&N cone filter and adapter? I'll be changing my filter to that soon, and was wondering what to do about the sensor. Thanks!

Peace

You won't have any problems as long as you don't unplug anything, or if you do unplug something plug it back in b4 you start your car up and you won't have any problems with CEL's. I made the mistake of unplugging the ambient air temperature sensor and i had a CEL show up. If you have a '95,'96(i'm assuming) then just throw the sensor in the filter, drill a hole into the filter so it sits in there, or twist tie it somewhere close to the filter;which i did.
