00VI+Emissions=Pass or Fail?
So Ive been reading about the 00VI and Im looking into it, my problem is we have emissions here in Chattanooga and I am wondering if it will pass... I am curious about the EGR and all that mess. From what I have read, and correct me if I am wrong, some people hook it up and some people dont... Do you gain more HP with it unhooked? Input on this would be great guys, yall have helped me in the past so with my Max questions I turn to yall, thanks!

It depends on how you do the swap. If you hook up the EGR, all other emissions related items (evap comes to mind), and don't do a half a55ed hack job; I don't think you have any problems passing emissions.
I don't think there is power to be gained from removing the EGR.

if i can pass California, you can pass anywhere else.

You will be able to pass emissions as long as you do the swap properly. Most people delete the swirl valves (emissions component) and maybe that is what you were thinking would gain/lose horsepower. As far as I know, you won't see any noticeable gains from hooking up the EGR.
