LSD Swap : ALTIMA LSD????

guys, i got a trans from JAPAN from a reputable importer which sells out 5 pds alot for 95-01 maximas. I ordered an lsd trans, woking outside in 20 degree weather, and when its time to put in the axles, they dont fit
so after running around checking different years, varieations of maxima i30 , none work. so i call the seller, and he says hes sorry, this is only the second time that this has even happend. he said the other time the guy got away using altima axles. well, i ordered them, havent tried to install, but the part that goes into the trans does look like it will work , but the hub end looks different and the right axle is 2.5 inches shorter, so at this point im not sure these will work either, im thinking the other dude ended up using maxima outers, and altima inner shafts. what a fkin mission.. before i unbolt again and send this sh8t back, im wondering if anyone has gone throuhg this before. the trans looks identical.

What's up dude, are you putting a JDM trans in and does that look like the US one and does the bolts line up to the engine just like the one you got on now. I think you should try the LSD axles or acctually the locking diffs and you probally have the non-locking diffs now. Thats probally why It's not working. When your talking about the altima what year is the tranny for ?.

i know the driver axle changes for the lsd version , so i did buy that one. passenger should be the same. according to all docs, it is the same. trans bolts up, looks identical but the diff accepts thinner shafts, which the altima shafts look good to go into the diff but not sure it will work on the hubs and the diff lengths is iffy. 94-97 lsd altima

So that's why those axles would not fit....that sucks. I don't have any experience with this, but good luck with it.
