Car Trouble

Im currently working on getting my car in good running condition before i start doing any mods but getting to the point.

Problems:Running at normal temp it spudders hitting the 38-40 mark so i think its the trans but not to sure.
Sumtimes i tran to mash out once im over 40 but its not responding like it should just more spuddering or it idles at 5rpm as if im in neutral.

Tried to get the shop to take a look at it but they say they drove it and it runs smoothly which i knew that they were driven it on a cold start instead of normal temp

So whats my problem??

While I do agree with Br0nz in the fact that the topic name is NOT descriptive enough AT ALL.....

Here is information on how to read the codes (with the codes themselves) and how to re-set them: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Automob...a_screw_driver

So If i understand this correctly, after turning 40 years old you started wearing womens clothing and makeup. But the response from other men is not what you expected due to a speech impediment you seem to experience while in your "tran" state.
I cannot help you with this, but I'm sure there is a forum out there that will help you better than we can.

Check the plug-wires & make sure there not crossed up, then do the closed throttle position relearn & report back.

So changed out the spark plugs to Bosch Platinum+4 Spark Plugs
and it seems to be running smooth for the most part. I gotta tell you that this took me about 2 to 3 hrs. Lasttime i did plugs was on a 4cyl sundance and i striped the threads on 1.

Umm....you will be replacing those soon also. NGK is the only plugs recommended for the VQ's..

Do yourself a favor and just get NGK's coppers. they are cheap and you can be sure that when you put them in that you can take spark plugs issues out of the equation.....

This thread, even though it's 6th gen, has some good info on spark plugs.
