Idle Air Control Valve (Cleaning)

Idle Air Control Valve (Cleaning)

Is there any point, rather than replacing, to clean the IACV? Any instructions very much appreciated?

I've replaced and cleaned IACV. When cleaning don't work and it's obvious that's broken, replace it lol.
