Im using Hella E55 Bi-Xenon HID projectors. I got mine on ebay, but here is a link to them on the retrofit source website.

Millenia's aren't bad for halogens, plus they use 9006 bulbs don't they? They'd be nice to get the hang of retro'in, rock them for a while then upgrade when you feel like spending money on better projectors The new ones will be a direct swap at that point FTW.

I'm using the Infiniti J30 high and low beam proectors for my retro. Low beams have the foreground limiters removed with the ZKW-R clear lenses spaced 6mm and I'll be running a 55W 6000K HID kit in there. In the high beams I'll be running 100W yellow bulbs with Lexus capsules.

I'm waiting for TRS to release their S2KR low beam projectors so I can do a retro on some R34s. I think I may try and pick up some halogen projectors for the high beam too.

J30's work extremely well with HIDs.

Here's the cutoff with the ZKW-R's:

All those pics were taken with old *** used 35W 6000K 9006 HIDs.

Of course you can throw HIDs in there. There should be little to no glare above the cutoff so don't worry about that. Go for it mang!

Here's a great site to get shrouds:

When I had my set, I had tsx for the regular beam and mdx halogen for the "high beam/ drl" setup.

Now Wizard has them for his second maxima.
