The crankshaft sensor is located on the front/bottom of your motor right next to the tranny. But i think there is 2 Crank sensors one on the front and one by the oil pump housing..I ve had the one on the front go out and my car wouldnt start replaced it and problem was fixed.. sorry i cant get any pictures but just letting you know what i know

IIRC 0407 is for the REF signal. There is two crank sensors, REF & POS, ref is under the crankpully, POS is on the bellhousing as stated.

No pics but it's not hard to find, look directly under your crankpully- the sensor & crankpull might just need a good cleaning- oil pan endseals & oil pressure sensor leaks can crud that area up pretty good. 2 10mm bolts holding the sensor to the upper oil pan. Also inspect the teeth on the crankpully, they can chip off pretty easy.

test both crank sensors one is in the picabove and the other is on the tranny bell housing right by the engine block if one of these are ba it will cause a no start issue and since u had a code for it my guess is one went bad the camsensor will cause a no start also its located on the timing cover right below the valve cover on the left side of the engine if r standin in front looking at the engine

p0407 is for the Crankshaft postiion sensor reference (CKPS ref). Its located near the oil filter. U can reach it and its 2 bolts to remove. Bout 60 bucks. There are also 2 grounds on the intake manifold. Clean those grounding surfaces as well.
