glove compartment padding?

looking into adding padding to reduce noise in the glove compartment. those cd cases can be noisy sometimes. has anyone use subwoofer liner and glue with a glue gun. curious if the glue will hold during hot summer months.

oh,i thought you meant the sound dampening for inside. i never heard of grey carpet in a sub box b4. only for outside for appearences. if thats what your talking about then you can get it almost anywhere. and why do you have jewel cases man??? dont you have a book or some place to store the cd's? or an ipod???

I would recommend going to an upholstery shop or fabric store and purchase headlining and use it in the glove box to reduce the noise.

^^ Yeah really.. Just grab an aftermarket deck with a usb port on it and toss all the cd's!! I think i sold all my cd's to a local music store about 5-7 years ago.. I think they gave me like 3 dollars for every cd!! LOL\

You would be lucky if you found a local music store let alone someone willing to buy your cd's now but.. just copy all your music from the cd's to a hard drive and call it a day!

I use my glove for registration and insurance and thats it.. no need to decorate in there
