Can anybody tell me the stock specs on the Maxima. 0-60, 1/4 mile, skidpad, etc. I am trying to put together a comprehensive specs area for most imports. I want specs that are as realistic as possible, not what Moter Trend tells us. Thanks in advance

 

Exactly what do you think is unrealistic about test reports from magazines? They are far more accurate than what a manufacturer claims. Manufacturers always underrate their cars.

 

all I meant by that is that the specs are reported differently by every mag. Take for example my car. Motor Trend says 14.7, C&D says 15.1, R&T says 15.3. I like to collect as much info from real drivers and just avg from there.

 

Oh, I see. Yes, the mags do vary a little bit, but I just tend to average them together (of course, sometimes in the article they will admit to problems that prevented them from achieving better results, so I dismiss the ones that are way off). Aside from ¼-mile times at various states of tune, I don't think that anyone here will have 0-60 and skidpad results.
