Leaky sensor

What is the name of the sensor that is just above the water pump access cover on the timing chain cover side of the engine? Mine is pouring oil out and has been getting worse since I don't drive my car much. Cam position sensor?? I'm guessing it is still working but there is oil running down below it. Also how hard is it to change the front valve cover gasket? Thanks!

Cam sensor, Get a new o-ring. Front v-cover gasket is easy.

Any certain place have them? Parts stores etc. Also stupid me let someone else control how tight to torq one of the valve cover bolts and of course it snapped right off. I didn't notice any leaks after it ran a few min. so I hoping it will be fine. Sucks its the second bolt over on the bottom, right where you would find a leak!

You could try and buy some from any auto parts and match it to the one you have. Most places sell universal o-rings.

Got O-ring at dealer; only about 2 dollars and fixed leak right up. Sensor was fine.
