VAFCII install question!!!

I am planning on hooking up a VAFC2 on my 96 maxima and have 2 questions if anyone knows. On the vafc2 there is a LIGHT BLUE wire and a BLUE wire which one is for the O2 sensor? I also have a RED wire and a RED/BLACK wire the diagram show that you splics 2 RED wires 1cm. So my question is since those are the only two wires that even have the color red on it is the one that is RED/BLACK the right one to splice in with the solid RED wire? I have all the diagrams/instructions on hooking it up but nothing states which blue wire is actually for the O2 sensor or if the red/black wire is the right one to connect with the solid red wire.

IF ANYONE HAS INSTALLED ONE OR KNOWS ANY INFO PLEASE LMK SO I DONT FCK ANYTHING UP!! Thanks

I thought it was pretty clear.........

" Please note that you will not be using the Light Blue
, Purple, or Orange wires from the V-AFC harness, tuck them away"

Also, in the following discussion (link below), it appears the O2 sensor wire may not even need to be wired in (per post #24)..

I'll have to read my VAFC manual again because I totally forgot about that blue o2 wire. I remember leaving it alone because I didn't have a wideband at the time. Might be able to have real time AFR value on the VAFC monitor screen.

Edit: Nope. Blue wire not even necessary.

Never heard of that.

*Edit

I didn't think so, since most of use the packaged software with our WB's.

While we're on the topic on VAFC installation,

I just finally finished doing the wiring to activate the MEVI on my daily driver 98 Max using my trusty () Harlan RPM switch.

If I wanted to ditch the Harlan and use the VAFC for future tuning and control the activation point of the MEVI, how would I go about it? Is it as simple as removing the Harlan, then taking the pink wire from the VAFC and tying it into the relay where the white wire of the Harlan used to go (85 on the relay)??

The diagram below is how I have my MEVI being activated on both on my Max's.
