kelley blue book

just go onto kelley blue book and see what an accurate price for your car would be, also if you're selling on craigslist or something remember you will have people talk you down so either write firm or start at a high price and have them shoot you down to a reasonable price, but your miles are really low, thats like 6000 miles a year, really good.

screwed around on KBB for fun, says around $4000 for your mileage and such (plus 4/5* condition but get that shaking checked out). KBB always shoots high on the price though but i would keep the recommended price to factor in people jooing you down on price

What constitutes a fair price will vary by location. I bought my Max in Chicago for $1500 in pretty decent shape, because fourth-gens are a dime a dozen in the area. If I were to head to Diddlysquat, KS, I'm sure the price would be higher.

Your best bet is to look around C-List and see what similar cars are pulling in in your neck of the woods. If I were buying, I probably wouldn't want to pay more than $3-3.5k or so, but a '97 GLE with 84k miles is what I'd want to spend my $3-3.5k on. I think your highway wiggle probably caps it around there or a little below.

thank you so much, this has really helped. I looked around on craigslist and ended up putting my car up for 2700 firm. I already have a few offers and it is 8:26 am. I did 2700 because i am looking to sell quick and 4th gens are going for 2300-2400, but thats with 150-250k miles. so i put it up for 2700.
