I need help with changing inner cv axle tranny seal

Wsup guys, ive never changed a tranny seal before
so I wanted to ask how to go about doing this. I just wanted to ask how to pull the seal out, I think it's personally just pulling the seal out the differntial then putting new one in but I wanted to check with any member who has done the job before. Thanks and God Bless guys..

I used a regular seal puller. It looks like a prybar with a hook on the end.

When I installed the new seal, I put a thin film of grease on the mating surface of the seal (to the transmission) then gently tapped it in with a hammer and 3/8" extension.

I carefully tapped around and around with the 3/8" extension.

yeah, be careful doing that. you dont want to seat the seal in bent or crooked.

Seal puller from auto zone like the posters above. Be very careful or you can break the seal fairly easily.

i used a Flathead screw driver to pry the old seal out, then tapped the new one in place.

if you do this, put some electrical tape on the tip. you don't want to scour the mating surface.
