Plasti-dip is always a matte finish unless you let it dry for 1 day, and then paint over it with different paint.

I always thought satin had more of a glossy finnish but looked dull

Where did you guys find the Gunmetal plastidip? I was looking for a darker alloy finish for my wheels but I didnt want to plastidip matt black

It just LOOKS like gunmetal because of the reflection off the finish. It's black.

Actually it comes in Black, Grey, White and Clear. You can even goto Dipyourcar.com and they can mix custom colors for you for only a few dollars more per can. It can also be bought in the quart pre thinned for gravity gun or airbrush application.

Plasti dip is extremely versatile and is very affordable.

Those wheels turned out amazing. I've been considering dipping my 16's and then painting them. I just haven't decided on a color yet.
