Plasti-Dipped Rims
My brother plasti-dip to paint his rims a few weeks ago then painted the plasti-dip gold. When he wants a different color he'll just peel it off and repaint it. I must say they came out pretty good. What do you all think?

paint it with plasti dip- then paint over the plasti dip with spray paint- endless colors and finish and it can be peeled off when you get sick of the look.
Can have multiple rim colors time after time

For the Record, Plastidip is available online in custom colors, and at Lowe's.
It Is also Extremely Durable.. My friend with the challenger has had hims rims done for over a year now. Still perfect.

Easy Enough.
No. It Won't The only issues you'll have is from gravel roads. Which I live in the middle of BFE and we have those here. Even then it will just appear as curb rash.
Just trust me and do it damnit.

yup, this stuff has recently got on our board as well (zx2). a member did his whole car with it, and it actually looked ok. used about 8 cans on our little car (he said 3 light coats total). i'm thinking about spraying my hood and wheels with it

In theory, you can have any color rims you want.

Ive heard that you have to wait for the plastidip to completely dry before painting over it otherwise it changes the paint and wont peel off.

don't spray too many coats, guys. mine look like swiss cheese a bit (tiny, tiny holes). maybe it was the user-error. i'll have to redo them anyway. the stuff is pretty strong after 2-3 coats. think of it as a bra for your bumper. thick enough coats should respond well to rocks (don't go mudding or off-roading tho lol) and other daily-driving obstacles.
