CustomMaxima.com Eyelids..........

Does anyone have these yet? They've been out for a while now. My question is, after you install em, can you still remove your headlights and clearance light w/out having to unglue em?

people have complained about the poor quality of them. Mainly due to the fact the they are made by sorona.

plus you have to file down the nubby thing on your headlights. Thats something i would never do just for eyelids. Id rather buy the clear GTS ones and paint the inside.

I've had my Eyelids installed for about a month or so, since Greg came out with them. I shaved the nub on my headlight with a Dremel tool, very easy to do. They look great on my black Max. Makes the headlights and whole front in general look a lot more aggressive. You cant remove the clearance light or headlight with them installed, but since I have good PIAA bulbs, it shouldnt be a problem. I love them and as soon as I take pictures Ill post them. Id recommend them, they fit great even though they are made by Sarona. The quality is sufficient for what they are.

You can use foam 3M tape instead of the glue. Most eyelids are held under by the hood anyway, so they will be secure and you can remove them.

HHmm,well being that I aleady ordered em as well as a new front bumper, I might as well wait. The 3M tape sounds like a good idea. Looks like that's the route I'll take. As far as the little nubbin on the headlight goes, no biggie, I don't think it as a use anyhow.

Little Nubby "thing"...

these are used to corrct the beam of your headlight. There is a specific tool that you use and with the numbers that are on the headlight, you make your head lights level.

Yeah, I guess that's one way you can do it, however I usually just shine the headlights on a wall and adjust them manually.
