what is the purpose of the clutch plate on the a/c compressor. reason why i'm asking is because i took my car to a shop to replace the clutch bearing for the compresor pulley but werent able to replace the bearing for some reason. well a couple weeks ago i was working on my car and noticed that the clutch plate wasnt put back on.is the clutch plate the clutch that is needed to have the a/c working or does the plate just act as a cover?...
