The deal of a lifetime

really... even at 265 hp thats nothing.. thats like what... a cold air intake, street tuned, and a full exhaust.. at best .. and yet i still want it.. just not for that price.. sadly enough it would end up being a donor car lol

I'd like to see you put down 265 hp with only those mods

but with CAI and full exhaust (headers, test pipe, full pipe to a good muffler) you could prolly get maybe 15-20hp with exhaust and maybe 10 with a good CAI (or maybe im being too generous)
so best case scenario 30 hp with just those and the 4th gen came from factory with 190 @5600 RPM and 205 @ 4000 RPM with it being bone stock

I'm pretty sure the REAL maxima used in that movie was a 5 speed, and had OEM tails, not altezzas..
copy and paste lol

i wonder if this is a real movie car....i like how the seller lists the veilside CF wing yet no pics show the car with a spoiler at all, except the magazine pic....i also like the #38 Vince's in the door jam with a labelmaker....

Do some research because it might take me a while to explain but drag racing cars have an advantage with automatics. Just because auto's aren't fun doesn't mean they don't work. And you've never seen this maxima? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0Rj76q5Vyw

doesnt seem real... graphics dont match on small things. wheels are wrong. clips of the movie have no wing. stock tails on the movie car...
ill throw a $100 on it for the brakes! everything else in the car is lame anyways!

FWI, they had like 3 or more of some of the cars in f&f. so all of the above is correct, if your not looking at the "hero" car, your probably looking at a cheap double.
it could still be real, but he could have changed those things out himself. its from 2001, he might have actually been stupid enough to daily/continue trying to mod it, added a different exhaust, wheels. etc since the originals are old as ****.
LOL every car in that movie had colored flex-hose wrappings and no mods.

for the sake of argument lets sa you had 45,000 to spend on a car.
option 1-buy that one so you can have a car thats sort of famous, but due to the weight and current draw of the audio gear, wont be that fast, and will burn through alternators.
option 2-buy a brand new maxima, witch has a waranty, as well as an engine that produces 290 hp and doesnt have 900lbs of added weight to slow it down
option 3- spend that 45 grand on modifications for your own maxima, turning it into a road dominating monster.
option 4- twinkies. lots of twinkies
