Could really use some help with interior

hey guys, ok to make a long story short im looking for a seatbelt latch assembly for the passenger rear seat my wife is having our latest child(which is scheduled for c-section wednesday).
i decided to move the car seats into my car and realized that my seat belt latch is broken on that side and the cheapest a junk yard has it for around here is 75 bucks for all rear seat belts
i know this sounds like a sob story and its not meant to be but i could really use some help.. even if its just that one seat belt latch for a good price.
As of right now we are going to have to fit all 3 kids and both of us into my wifes 97 2door cavalier(which is tiny for me since im 6'3)
please let me know if anyone can help me out.

So let me get this right...You dont want to spend $30-45 for a seat belt buckle so New born child can ride safely?

I think $30 is worth the piece of mind....

well i did some research and nissan is required to hold up all warranties on seatbelts for the "lifetime of the car"
Which according to nissan is 23 years as long as the seatbelt has not been modified and the car is still in running order.
They are required "by Nissan headquarters warranty division" to resolve any safety issue with seatbelts.
That came straight from the mouth of the warranty specialist i talked to tonight btw if you have any warranty questions call 1-800-nissan-1
the person i talked to said to call the dealership and tell them what is wrong and that they are required to fix it FREE of charge. He said that they might throw up a bit of a fuss about it.
And if they dont want to budge to ask for their name and the exact name of the dealership that they work at so that you can inform nissan headquarters that they are refusing to service your factory nissan warranty.

Yes, you are correct my friend. I forgot the seat belts do have a lifetime warranty. You are not missing your buckle, its not latching in so they have to fix it for free.

well i talked to the stealership today and they ordered my latch assembly (in BLACK ftw) and said that it would be in on monday and that i can come in anytime on tuesday and they will replace it and have it ready for me by the end of the day(by lunch if i take it in first thing in the morning.
and i would just put the one that i get from the org member in but its there like a 8 point star bit holding that belt latch in? thats a tool i dont have and if i can get it done at the dealership for free im not buying the tool..

Most dealers will fix seatbelts free of charge as a goodwill as it is a safety issue.

well technically they have to bc nissan covers an unlimited warranty on safety equipment inside the vehicle for as long as the car is still on the road and the seatbelt is not modified in anyway

Good to hear your getting it fixed and saving some money. Most people don't know about the safety warranty and glad I could help you with this.

well the latch assembly came in today from max41 and its black(nice), in great condition, so i may just install it for one of the other rear seatbelts and have 2 black seatbelt latches.
have a schedule for 820 am to get mine switched out

well i went to the dealership this morning and all i said was my name and that i was supposed to be getting a seatbelt latch replaced.. they immediately grabbed my keys and pulled the car around(after i showed the tech guy how to start it)
about 30 minutes or later they pulled it back around and said "here ya go, we even checked the fluid levels and your about 1/2 quart low on oil.. might wanna get that taken care of"
handed me my keys and away i went.. so now im going to install that seatbelt latch i got from max ride and install it on the other side and just not use the secondary belt just leave it tucked under the seat for now until i find a better use for it.
