help with exhaust manifold gasket leak

I have CM headers installed by previous owner. I've done a lot of exhaust work the past few weeks to fix the previous owners hack work.

Now as I finally fix the catback, the other leaks and the homemade hangers .
I notice the gaskets where the manifolds bolt to the heads are leaking..

What's my best option on replacing these?
I noticed the local parts stores have fel-pro and beck/arney . Which is better?

Also would you guys recommend putting some rtv ? I always go on other exhaust gaskets but I'm not sure if its a good idea to do it right on the headers.

And last but not least are the manifold gakets the same on my 01 as the 95-99? Seems like there's more options for the 99 even though I think they are the same ...

If possible go oem for the gaskets. Also pretty much all vq exhaust manifold gaskets interchange with eachother.

Only thing any of the parts stores had in stock were the felpros. they look decent.

My next question is high temp RTV or not?

RTV has a special exhaust gasket spray you can use if you want. For the headers, I would just use any layered gasket. I just bought a pair for under 20 shipped from rockauto. Remember you can use any VQ header gasket, they all have the same shaped ports.
